A dressing up box that all big girls should go and play in

Laundry Boutique Chiswick has recently opened at 5 Chiswick Common Road, just off Turnham Green Terrace.

This is the independent chain’s fifth store as since Laundry Boutique's launch in 2006, they are already established in affluent Cheshire locations Chester, Manchester, Stockton Heath, Altrincham and most recently a ‘Pop Up’ on Portobello Road.

Laundry Boutiques are small and intimate, enabling the friendly and knowledgeable staff to offer good old fashioned service. They are set in a beautiful boudoir style that immediately puts you in the mood for parting with your hard earned pounds...

They specialise in that unstructured layered look that the Europeans seem to do with effortless ease. Their clothes, I'm informed, are mostly sourced from Italy and France with a few like minded UK brands thrown in the mix. Fabrics such as silks, jerseys, linens and fine knits adorn the rails in muted pastels, fresh white and neutrals and fab section of cream, navy and red.

Unbelievably Laundry’s average price is around a very sensible £35. The stock changes on a weekly basis as they only buy in small numbers to keep their look exclusive. Customers are kept informed with a weekly email with pictures and prices or new arrivals.......

Another well worthy mention is their central marble jewellery table....it's full to the brim with a
vast array of fab pieces...again with a very reasonable average price of around £15.

On the whole Laundry Boutique is one a dressing up box that all big girls should go and play in !

Welcome to Chiswick - how are things going?

Really well thank you - the fabulous ladies of Chiswick have made us feel so welcome - and they seem to like what we have on offer - especially the prices!

Tell us a bit about Laundry Boutique

Laundry Boutique started about eight years ago, in Cheshire, offering fabulous fashion at reasonable prices. The ladies loved what we had on offer, telling us they felt the styles were wearable, affordable and fashionable, which was exactly what we wanted to hear!! Since then we’ve steadily grown and after starting a ‘Pop Up’ on Portobello Road we are delighted to be here in Chiswick spreading the laundry love far and wide!!!

What is different about Laundry Boutique Chiswick?

We have lots of unique factors, but mostly we feel we offer affordable fashion, and as we get new stock in every week we keep it fresh. We love nothing more than getting our ladies in the changing rooms for a big trying on session, and helping them form an outfit they will love - our ladies walk out of the store feeling confident with their purchases and with the prices being so good they don’t have to feel guilty for treating themselves!

We also pride ourselves on providing an extremely high end service - offering style advice and honest feedback on what works and more importantly what may not work so well fashion wise for each customer.

What is the ‘Laundry Look’ for this summer?

We love layering - it’s such an easy and elegant look, a very continental way of dressing. This season, we adore teaming soft muted shades with a flash of neon, so we’d suggest one of our best selling basic’s, the ‘cocoon top’ with a gorgeous loose knit - teamed with a pair of our skinny jeans or leggings and a pair of ballet pumps, and you are good to go! Then by switching the cocoon top for a maxi dress you’ve got a completely different look!

What can we expect to see from Laundry Boutique Chiswick in the next few months?

We love putting on fashion shows - so I’m sure once we have our ‘feet under the table’ in Chiswick you’ll see us popping up putting on local events, we also adore hosting private shopping evenings in the store - a group of friends, and a few glasses of fizz it’s a really fun way to shop!!
