|Managing The Menopause With Hypnotherapy|
Workshops for women with troublesome symptoms
Changing Times Hypnotherapy has launched novel workshops for women who want to learn to manage symptoms from the menopause.
The workshops are run by Louise Coyle, who set up Changing Times Hypnotherapy earlier this year.
The ‘Managing the Menopause’ workshop offers two, 90-minute, weekly sessions for small groups of women to teach how hypnotherapy can reduce hot flushes, to offer ways to manage stress or insomnia and to look at how techniques for providing additional motivation to reduce weight or increase exercise.
Hypnosis has been shown, in properly conducted clinical trials, to be as effective at treating hot flushes as conventional hormone treatment (HRT) and has a wealth of evidence for its effectiveness in reducing anxiety and treating insomnia. EFT (or tapping) has a proven, evidence-based track record for problems such as stress and anxiety.
Managing the Menopause
Session 1 - looks at why the menopause produces such wide-ranging effects, how learning methods of relaxation can help, provides a practical relaxation exercise that participants can record for use at home, and a hypnotherapy exercise to address the problem of hot flushes. We also look at why the menopause can adversely affect your sleep and some practical tips for dealing with this.
Session 2 - looks further into insomnia and you will experience a hypnosis session designed to improve your sleep. We also look at emotional freedom technique, how it can helps with problems such as sleeplessness and food cravings. Finally we look at the problems of a changing body and you will enjoy a hypnosis session focussing on making the bodily changes you want to make.
Each session includes two hypnotherapy practical sessions and a link to the recording will be available for future use at home. The cost for the workshop is £105
