Weekend workshops for all in a beautiful location throughout 2014

Everyone knows that singing is good for your health! Now you can spend a fabulous weekend in a beautiful countryside location, switch off from endless emails, the buzzing of the BlackBerry, the stress of the underground…and enjoy two days of Singing and Wellbeing!

Three West London-based professional musicians – Rose Bellingham, Peter Osborn and Jonathan Cohen, are running a new series of weekend workshops called ‘More Than Singing’ at the beautiful Herons Cultural Centre near Lingfield Surrey, just an hour from West London.

Rose lives in Acton and is a professional opera singer who sang for a number of years with Glyndebourne Festival Opera, and others, and has also taught singing for twenty years. Peter is an ex-professional singer with West End credits to his name as well as hundreds of performances and recordings with the vocal group Wall Street Crash. Peter lives in Ealing. Jonathan, resident in W4, is an accomplished conductor, choir master, arranger, accompanist and presenter, well known for his work on BBC ‘s Play away, Play School, Jackanory and Music Time series and for his  current sell-out Royal Albert Hall Christmas shows.

Together, they run very popular and successful weekends which encompass  group and solo singing, work on breathing and technique, yoga, various talks and demonstrations, delicious organic food and a chance to relax and meet  and work with new people in a very supportive and friendly environment. The cost of the weekend is £150 excluding accommodation.
