Nominated as a finalist for Independent Retailer of the Year

Chiswick hair salon Armstrong Cuthbert has been announced as a finalist in the Hounslow Business Awards in the category for Independent Retailer of the Year.

Organised by Hounslow Chamber of Commerce, the awards are designed to recognise and reward the achievements of Hounslow’s business community.

Businesses were asked to put forward submissions outlining their commercial success, customer focus, adaptation to the changing business landscape and involvement with the local community. Finalists then have to face a judging panel of local business experts. Armstrong Cuthbert is the only hair salon to be shortlisted across the various categories.

Owner Wendy Nixon is hopeful of further success, “this is deserved recognition for the team here, who have moved the salon onto a new level since we took on Aveda some 18months ago. It would be great to win, so fingers crossed for the big night.”

The awards culminate with a glittering awards dinner at the Hilton London Syon Park on 9th October 2015.
