Berkeley Consultants, a Chiswick based Independent Financial Adviser, have recently been awarded “ runners up “ in a specialist category at the Financial Advisers Mortgage Awards 2004. The nomination for these prestigious awards can only come from their fellow peers within the financial services industry and it is quite an honour to be nominated let alone achieve a second place.

Berkeley Consultants pride themselves on providing expert advice to the residents of West London, in particular, those in the W4 post code. From the offices of Centre 500 on Chiswick High Road, they regularly advise on such matters as mortgages, investments, inheritance tax planning, family protection and retirement provision.

With 5 advisers, each with specific expertise, Berkeley Consultants are able to ensure that all areas of their customers financial planning needs are catered for. It is essential that our customers understand that at short notice they can expect to receive sound advice in whatever area that suits their needs says Practice Partner Stephen Rodgers, we have taken a lot of effort in employing the right people with the appropriate strengths in all areas of wealth management.

Stephen’s partner, Glen Morris, who specialises in commercial finance and Lifetime mortgages, was keen to reiterate the importance of locally based financial advice. We have gone to great lengths to be able to provide our customers with a one stop shop appeal, from having a female adviser on hand, to equity release mortgages and advice for the retired.

At present, Berkeley Consultants are immersed within the mortgage market helping local residents make sense of the bewildering array of mortgages currently available. Samantha McKelvey, one of their resident mortgage specialists, says that homeowners have been warned that Bank of England base rates could go as high as 5.25% by next year, therefore Chiswick residents are right to investigate the best fixed rate mortgage schemes that are currently on offer.
