Chiswick businessmen Larry Miller and David Lister from Hitchin, Hertfordshire, who founded ‘Achieving Quality Leads’ (AQL), were highly commended in The Remote Employer Award at a prestigious ceremony to celebrate the Remote Worker Awards.

AQL thrives on home workers and remote workers. They use remote working to bring quality people, who juggle a career and family life, back into the work force. AQL were cited for this when they received an award from the Prime Minister at Downing Street for the Best Small UK Company for Bringing Women Back into Work!

Miller said, "Remote working is the future, no doubt about that, and there's a growing army of highly qualified people who hate commuting and want to get their work and life in balance. That's how we've grown and been successful since our start up five years ago. Our low overhead and our use of the latest internet based technology means we are more competitive and effective all round."

Paula Wynne, Founder of Remote Employment and organiser of the Remote Worker Awards, said,“It has been a highly rewarding experience to see the wide variety of talented people who embrace flexible working and seeing just how many companies champion remote working! It’s been such a pleasure finding these inventive pioneers!”
