Creative Woodwork, Chiswick’s bespoke high quality furniture and cabinet maker, successfully combines innovation and traditional craftsmanship.

Founded five years ago, the company has grown to employ 10 people, carving a reputation as a true specialist in custom-built bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and home offices. The entire process, from design to manufacture and finish, is carried out at Creative Woodwork’s Colville Road premises.

Creative Woodwork never relies on “off the peg” designs – the company’s skilled designers work closely with every client, creating an exclusive offering to meet their spatial, aesthetic and functional requirements. As part of a client’s free consultation, Creative Woodwork uses specialist software to create the perfect solution for every space. These virtual pieces can be adjusted at the touch of a button, allowing customers to change look and feel - and see instant results.

Company founder Marc Hickey said: “By combining the best of modern and traditional techniques, Creative Woodwork can provide a high quality bespoke service that is also very cost-effective.

“Most companies will modify an existing design and shoehorn it to try and fit a customer’s needs. We take the time to find out what the customer really wants - and then deliver it.”

Creative Woodwork’s rising reputation has seen its work featured in home and interior magazines and it recently provided a home office for a house in Essex, as part of the ITV1 Show, 60 Minute Makeover. The company also counts a growing number of celebrities as clients, from comedians and sports personalities to TV and radio presenters.
