Local Chamber of Commerce hold networking event

Hounslow Chamber held a networking evening hosted by Porsche at the Porsche Centre in Chiswick on Thursday, 2nd November.

The 60 or so guests had a really enjoyable evening surrounded by Porsche sportscars. In the words of George Manu of Creative Squares: “A different event, mixing fine cars, wine and cheese with business. What more could you ask for at the end of a busy day?”

Paul Westaway, Dealer Principal, started the evening with a brief introduction to Porsche, giving the company’s history and talking about the latest models. This was followed by Christina Jackson, a licensed business coach with Action International, who gave a short talk on the importance of setting goals and reviewing them on a regular basis – obstacles are the things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.

All the refreshments were supplied by Chamber members, with cheese and homemade bread and biscuits coming from The Kids’ Cookery School, wine from UVA Wines and a firkin of London Pride from Fuller Smith & Turner.
