Marmalade Jewellery is pleased to announce the launch of this year’s Marmalade Making competition for the 2011 Bedford Park Festival.
Following the success of last year’s competition they will keep a similar format. There will be two categories, classic Seville Orange and Mixed citrus fruits.
The overall grand prize is a £100 Marmalade Jewellery gift voucher for the overall winner and a £50 voucher for the runner up PLUS Marmalade Jewellery will donate £20 to the Festival charities for each entry.
Entries need to be brought into Marmalade Jewellery by end of 30th April 2011, with your name and telephone number on a label securely attached to the bottom of the jar.
All entries will be judged out of 10 according to the categories of taste, texture and presentation.
The first judging panel will score all entries and put forward the top three in each category to the grand celebrity judging on Saturday June 11th, the opening day of Green Days weekend and the Bedford Park Festival. This year's Celebrity Judge will be announced in due course. www.bedfordparkfestival.org
