|Marmalade Jewellery Valuation Day|
'Great opportunity' on Wednesday 5th September
Marmalade Jewellery of Chiswick, is holding their next Jewellery Valuation day up on Wednesday the 5th September and there are still some spaces available. Valuations are vital to ensuring you have the proper insurance cover for your Jewellery, at current replacement costs.
Given the huge recent increases in the price of gold, platinum and diamonds, Marmalade would encourage everyone to have an up to date valuation of their Jewellery carried out. Experience has shown that most people are significantly under-insured and this can create problems in the event of a claim.
If you have been thinking of getting your precious items valued, this could be the ideal time. You could discover the history of your precious jewellery items and have a professional valuation carried out by an expert while you wait. A specialist valuer from the ‘Guild of Valuers and Jewellers’ will be available by appointment between 10am and 5:30pm to carry out personal consultations on your items of jewellery.
If it is not convenient for you to be in-store you could leave your jewellery in the store in advance and they will ensure it gets valued on the day for you. These popular events usually book out very quickly so call soon to reserve your place. Valuation prices start from £49.95, but check out their website for a full price list. The valuations produced are beautifully presented and include detailed descriptions and digital photographs of each item, together with documentation for your insurance company and advice on what to do in the event of a loss.
Once your valuation is completed, information about your jewellery is stored on a secure national database, e-register, which uses unique reference numbers and orphaned data to protect your identity. To book an appointment at this special event, please contact the store on 020 8742 1178 or call in. Due to demand a maximum of 5 items can be valued on the day although if you have other items you would like valued these can be brought along on the day and will be returned to you usually within 4 to 5 days.
