Valuation Day at Marmalade Jewellery

Marmalade Jewellery will be holding a special in-store Valuation Day for customers on Thursday 3rd April.

You could discover the history of your precious jewellery items and have a professional valuation carried out by an expert while you wait. A specialist valuer from the ‘Guild of Valuers and Jewellers’ will be available by appointment between 10am and 5:30pm to carry out personal consultations on your item of jewellery.

Valuations are vital to ensuring you have the proper insurance cover for your items at the current market value and that’s why we would encourage you to have an up to date valuation carried out.

This is the perfect opportunity to do that because we have a Guild Valuer coming into the store.

The valuations produced are beautifully presented and include detailed descriptions and digital photographs of each item, together with documentation for your insurance company and advice on what to do in the event of a loss.
Once your valuation is completed, information about your jewellery is stored on a secure national database, e-register, which uses unique reference numbers and orphaned data to protect your identity.

Space is limited so early booking is advised. Due to demand a maximum of 5 items can be valued on the day although if you have other items you would like valued these can be brought along on the day and will be returned to you usually within 4 to 5 days.
