It's only March and already Chiswick's retail landscape has noticeably altered. Notable arrivals include Eco (the shop), Eco (the restaurant) and Cook! (on Chiswick Lane).

The closures, and one in particular, have been met with mixed reactions. The Natural Cafe, part of a small chain cafes 'dedicated to serving natural and organic food and drink', has closed along with the other eleven outlets. Though the cafe was rarely quiet, the company that owns the chain has reportedly gone into administration.

Sirca 6, the men's shirt shop, has also closed and whilst the former owners of Grove Park institution The Coyote said their goodbyes last week, the new owners will be opening The Copper Cow at the beginning of April.

And speaking of open and shut cases, Gravy has finally reopened and as has Andy's Kebabs although for how long this time is anyone's guess - including Andy's!
