For children to explore own brand of skit, stand-up and sketch characters
School of Comedy is the first ever Drama School set up to encourage children to explore their own brand of skit, stand-up and sketch character comedy. We are based at the Tabard Theatre home to comedians Harry Hill and Al Murray. It is an ideal professional theatre environment. Unlike other Drama schools, we do not encourage Jazz Hands. We focus solely on raw talent and observational skills - children’s performances can be likened to any Footlights comedy show. Whether your child wants to be in the next 'Little Britain' or simply loves the chance, to play, perform and have fun, there is something here for everyone. This course is a unique and unifying experience for everyone. “Laura and Tara are inspired teacher School of Comedy in the highlight of our kids' week. They can develop their comic potential in a wonderful environment which always results in a jaw dropping and side splitting sketch show.” Jane McKenzie and Jane Denton, Harrodian School Mums.
