Newly refurbished veterinary surgery, Young Veterinary Partnership, located at 5 Bedford Corner, was officially declared re-open for business on Thursday night at a party for clients and local residents.

The surgery at 5 Bedford Corner, in the heart of Bedford Park, has doubled in size. The surgery now includes a newly fitted reception area and waiting room to complement the existing consulting room.

Young Veterinary Partnership acquired the next door premise when the much loved newsagent Mr Lad retired earlier in the year. The surgery said it felt privileged to have been able to acquire the shop front and restore the facade in the Bedford Park architectural style. It now stands smartly on Bedford Corner, painted in 'Bedford Park green', complete with black double doors in the Arts & Crafts style.

The surgery hosted a gathering to celebrate their expanded and refurbished premises and the surgery was formally opened by Angie Bray, MP for Ealing Central and Acton and also a local resident.

Clients mingled with vets and staff at the surgery, their neighbours, friends and fellow dog walkers and even some canine friends whilst taking a tour of the new premises and viewing art work by Catherine Williams, both vet and Artist in Residence at the Bedford Park surgery. Everyone enjoyed delicious canapes supplied by Bedford Corner delicatessan, Darcau at what was a memorable local evening.
