On Friday 12th April, International SOS will be holding a very special event to show its support for a unique charity that saves the lives of thousands of Londoners every year: London's Air Ambulance.

A series of fun activities will be held in the Piazza in Chiswick Park from 11.45 - 2.00 and the public are invited to come and show their support.

There will be the opportunity to join in the activities in the Piazza, which will include:

  • Meeting the pilots and medics
  • Learning about the medical equipment and experience live demonstrations
  • Viewing a London's Air Ambulance rapid response car
  • Participating in Basic Life Support Training
  • Undertaking a wellness check
  • Competing in a remote control car race
  • Receiving medical and security advice for travel abroad
  • Riding in a helicopter simulator

Stephen Hammond MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, will open the event and a number of leading figures from West London including local MP, Mary Macleod will be present. There’ll be lots to do and see including competitions and challenges with a medical focus and a barbecue. Although, in the true spirit of fundraising, the food won’t be free!
