Fundraising Auction At St Michael's In Elmwood Road

To raise money for their Street party

A Fundraising Auction will be held at St. Michael's Centre, Elmwood Road, on Saturday, 26 April at 7.30pm.

St Michael's holds a Street Party each year in Elmwood Road which is very popular with the whole community. They start by raising funds for it by holding an Auction in April.

"This year, we have some wonderful lots very generously donated - ranging from a night's babysitting and four hours gardening, to a week in Cornwall and four nights at a luxury apartment in Manhattan," said a spokesperson for the parish.

"Come along and bid, you may well be the ones on the plane to New York."

There will be a pay bar selling wine, beer and soft drinks – so just buying a drink will help raise funds for the cause.
