Police warn public to be on the alert following recent upsurge

Police have issued a warning to owners of BMWs to be on the alert following a recent crime spate.

Notices have been posted by police in the Southfield Road/Acton Lane area today ( August 1st) warning of a recent upsurge in vehicle crime involving BMWs in the locality.

The activity has increased over the past week.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police at 0208 -721 2946.

The police say if anyone witnesses a motor vehicle crime, they should phone 999.

“ Those offending will be dealt with robustly” they said.
