Local groups say the development will have an impact on Chiswick
Plans to bring forward a new home for Brentford Football Club will go on show to the public next week in a further step towards the submission of a planning application to Hounslow Council. The Stadium will be built at Lionel Road, near the Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre. Local groups in Chiswick say the capacity of the stadium and the potential scale of the enabling development, which may include three tall residential blocks on each of three corners of the site, will have a major impact on Chiswick. They have urged residents in the area to attend the exhibition to inform themselves on the Club’s intentions.
