Fight On Bus In Chiswick

One man caught by police constable after a chase

Police were called after a fight broke out on a bus on Chiswick High Road today (Nov 13).

The incident happened at around 2pm between two individuals believed to be aged in their thirties as the bus was travelling along Chiswick High Road, heading towards its destination of Shepherd's Bush.

The bus-driver radioed for help and pulled into a stop near the Caffe Nero, close to Sainsbury.

The two men jumped off the bus and ran off. A police constable gave chase and caught one of the individuals.

The bus then pulled off and continued its journey.

At around the same time, in an unrelated incident, police and London Ambulance were called to the same area when a woman passenger on another bus became ill.

The woman, who was aged in her twenties or early thirties, collapsed. She was treated by paramedics.
