The winner of the competition for tickets to the Chiswick House Opera is Susan Simnett who will receive free tickets to the event of her choice and a complimentary bottle of champagne courtesy of Fuller's.

Tickets can be bought on the night (£30) for either the production of Behind the Aria on Wednesday, July 3rd, (a fantastical tale set backstage where arias and duets weave a tale of love found and lost, jealousy and hate) or on Thursday, July 4th, Carmen, the ever-popular opera, set in Spain in the early 1950s for this production.

The entire rear lawn of the House is reserved for ticket holders from 6.00pm. Set up your chairs and picnic and enjoy a magical evening celebrating summer with friends.

Bring your own picnic, or buy picnic food and hot beverages from The Company of Cooks’ stall on the night, as well as champagne, wine and beer from the Fuller’s stall.

A new young opera company, Focus Opera, will be producing this year with a larger stage and enhanced sound system.

The opera is organised by Chiswick House Friends - chfriends.org.uk/events/opera

Gates open at 18.00 and Performances start at 19.30.
