The Chiswick Christmas Lights have been switched on and will remain up until early January.

The St. Mary's School Choir (pictured below) sang carols before the ceremony which took place outside the George IV on Chiswick High Road.

Fuller’s Brewery continues this year as sponsors of the lights and organised dray horses and a cart to be brought along to the event.

Chiswick councillor Paul Lynch was MC for the occasion and Richard Fuller from the brewery performed the official 'switch on'.

The lights stretch from Chiswick Lane to Acton Lane and down along Turnham Green Terrace.
