A 35-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being involved in a collision on Chiswick High Road this Monday (19 December).

Shortly before 7.15pm he was riding near the junction with Dukes Avenue when he was hit by a Toyota Prius.

Video footage taken after the incident shows a bike, which appears from a distance to be undamaged, propped up against the back of an ambulance where the fruit and veg stall is situated.

He received back injuries and was brought by ambulance for treatment, but his condition is not believed to be life threatening.

The driver was not arrested but the police say they are continuing to make enquiries into the incident.
