A raffle is taking place this weekend on Chiswick High Road in order for a young Chiswick student, Alex Phillips, to raise money for her upcoming Kilimanjiro climb in aid of the charity Dig Deep.

Dig Deep works to provide sustainable solutions to problems faced everyday by communities in Kenya. They are focused on delivering renewable energy projects to provide water, cooking gas and electricity to those who need it most thus providing direct and indirect benefits to the whole community and the surrounding environment.

Alex has recently been fundraising on the High Road selling baked goods to kickstart her fundraising campaign, but the raffle she is running this weekend should up the ante as it is full of fantastic prizes which have been generously donated by local businesses.

Prizes include:

£50 Brunch voucher at Sam’s Brasserie & Bar
£50 Sweaty Betty Voucher
£25 Macken Brothers voucher
£70 meditation/relaxation hour
Strada 2x meal vouchers
Melburys room deodoriser
Annapurna meal for two voucher
£10 voucher for Lara’s Restaurant
£20 meal voucher at Chez Gerard
Armstrong Cuthbert blowdry and treatment
Lavine – wash and blowdry
Nandos – 5 Combination Platters
As Nature Intended – 6 Goody bags
Urban Vitality Month Subscription

Raffle tickets are £2 each and all proceeds will be going to the charity. There is a limited amount of tickets so there are high odds on winning one of the many prizes!

Please come along to Alex's cake stand this Saturday 24th to buy tickets where she will also be selling a selection of freshly baked, home-made treats including carrot cake, banana loaf and cupcakes!

If you are unavailable Saturday, please email Alex on a_l_e_x@live.co.uk to arrange a way to get tickets.
