A vehicle linked to suspected drug dealing was searched at the junction of St Albans Road and Speldhurst Road after residents reported repeated shortstay visits, enabling officers to seize rucksacks filled with controlled drugs. A police operation has led to the seizure of a quantity of controlled drugs after neighbourhood officers, acting on information from local residents, located a suspicious vehicle parked at the junction of St Albans Road and Speldhurst Road. According to the update, residents had reported a pattern of different individuals approaching the vehicle and remaining there for only a few minutes at a time—behaviour consistent with streetlevel drug exchanges. Neighbourhood officers attended the location and, with support from the Proactive Disruption Team, carried out a search of the vehicle. Inside, they discovered concealed rucksacks containing controlled drugs believed to be intended for onward supply in the Acton area. Police also confirmed that the vehicle was linked to the misuse of a stolen Blue Badge, adding a further line of inquiry to the investigation. The Proactive Disruption Team provides a tactical capability in response to serious and organised criminality. All drugs recovered from the vehicle were seized at the scene, and officers say that enquiries into the individuals involved remain ongoing. No arrests were confirmed in the release, but the investigation continues as officers work to identify those connected to the suspected supply activity. The police believe the drugs were intended for supply in Acton PC Mia Atherley emphasised that the outcome demonstrates the value of community intelligence and the effectiveness of joint working between neighbourhood teams and specialist units. She thanked residents for reporting their concerns and encouraged the public to continue sharing information about suspicious activity.
