Brian Dodgeon believed to have jumped off bridge into North Circular traffic
The academic at the centre of the teenager drug death investigation, is believed to have thrown himself off a bridge. According to newspaper reports, 60 year old Brian Dodgeon broke both legs after jumping from a flyover on the North Circular Road in Walthamstow yesterday, Wednesday 3rd May, and is in a serious condition in hospital. Institute of Education lecturer Dodgeon, whose daughter hosted the party where 15 year old Chiswick Community School pupil Isobel Reilly died, was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and child abandonment and bailed until June. He has been suspended from his position on full pay. Police confirmed they had attended an incident in which a man of 60 had fallen from a bridge but would not confirm his identity. A spokesman said: "Shortly after 10.10am yesterday, police were called to the North Circular Road (A406) at Walthamstow to reports of a man who had fallen from a bridge. "A 60-year-old man suffering from serious leg injuries was taken to hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition." Police are continuing with their investigation into Isobel's death. |
