Two women have been charged in connection with the attack on Hedone chef Mikael Jonsson.

Police said that one was charged with causing grievous bodily harm, and the other with common assault.

They were released on bail to appear at Feltham Magistrates Court on December 1st, 2011.

The incident took place at the restaurant on Chiswick High Road, shortly before 02.30 hours on Saturday, October 18th and a woman member of staff was also assaulted.

Some days later, a woman aged in her forties, and another aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the incident.

After the attack police appealed for witnesses to come forward.

Mikael Jonsson,(44) the Swedish chef-owner who opened the cutting-edge restaurant in August, was able to open as normal the following night.

A well-known food blogger under the pen name Degusto, he opened Hedone (the name is taken from the Greek word for 'pleasure') promising to give a dining experience based on the best quality produce.

Diners can have a five-course meal for £45 or an eight-course menu for £60.
