In 1978, this practice became one of the first to move into the newly established Chiswick Health Centre on Dolman Road which has recently been replace by a new building. She co-founded the Friends of Chiswick Health Centre, a patients’ advocacy group, along with Dr Stephen Hirst. This initiative aimed to strengthen communication with healthcare authorities and sustain local services Upon her retirement, she described her years of service as a “pleasure and a privilege,” offering continuity of care within the community throughout her career. Former patients will have the opportunity to mark her passing in book of condolence at the practice, which will passed onto her family. If you need to attend Chiswick Health Practice on Tuesday 19 August, you are asked to be patient with staff as many of their colleagues will be at the funeral.
