Town Hall Terrace closed again tonight
Due to heavy rain last night the Turnham Green Traffic & Transport Scheme, resurfacing of the carriageway around Chiswick Town Hall was not completed. This will mean the works will recommence tonight, under three way traffic signals. This will require the closure of Town Hall Avenue only. Bus routes 272, 440 and E3 will be diverted to call at the stop near the Chiswick Post Office and will then run via Heathfield Terrace not Town Hall Avenue. At 8pm this evening the northbound carriageway of the North Circular is due to close at Chiswick Roundabout and traffic is being diverted down Chiswick High Road. In addition the Chiswick Hustings is taking place at Christ Church, Turnham Green so if you are intending to be there walking would be the best option.
