Residents opposing the introduction of a CPZ in Grove Park and Strand on The Green have taken to the internet to galvanise their campaign.

Andrew Kaza set up a website at http://www.saveourgroveparking.org/

Mark Proctor initiated a petition to Hounslow Council at
http://petitions.hounslow.gov.uk/NO-CPZ/ as well as a Google site http://sites.google.com/site/chiswickcpz and a Google Group http://groups.google.com/group/chiswick-cpz.

The public meeting to discuss the proposed Grove Park and Strand on-the-Green CPZ held on Wednesday 26 January was well attended.

Chaired by Chiswick resident Paul Lewis, the meeting was organised to afford all residents an opportunity to hear about Hounslow Council's current design consultation and to put forward their points of view which unsurprisingly differed depending on which road they lived in. A copy of the consultation document is available online here.

The debate continues on the ChiswickW4.com forum.

The consultation will run until 8th February.

Please note that issues relating to specific individual cases should be sent in writing to Parking Services, Street Management & Public Protection, London Borough of Hounslow, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow, TW3 4DN, or emailing traffic@hounslow.gov.uk
