Chiswick was scene to a relatively rare metrological phenomenon yesterday (Wednesday 26th October) when a double rainbow was visible over Turnham Green.

The picture above which was taken by Jo Fillmore shows the double rainbow behind Christ Church.

This is the first such sighting in Chiswick that we are aware of since 2004. It was also spotted by former Pop Idol runner up Gareth Gates who tweeted about his amazement.
