Ben & Jerry’s Sundaes in the Park Festival returns to Chiswick House & Gardens on Saturday 13 June, promising a full day of live music, unlimited ice cream and a strong social-justice message at its heart. Running from midday until 10pm, the 18+ event blends a summer-festival atmosphere with talks, cabaret, workshops and the chance to meet the charity partners who will receive 100% of the net ticket proceeds.
This year’s main-stage headliner is Pixie Lott, one of the most recognisable British pop artists of the past 15 years. Lott burst onto the scene in 2009 with her debut single Mama Do, which went straight to No. 1 in the UK charts, followed swiftly by another chart-topper, Boys and Girls. Her debut album Turn It Up went double-platinum, and she has since built a career that spans pop, soul, television and the West End. Known for her powerhouse vocals and upbeat stage presence, she has appeared as a coach on The Voice Kids, performed in Breakfast at Tiffany’s in the West End, and collaborated with artists ranging from Pusha T to Stevie Wonder. Her appearance at Chiswick House marks a rare chance to see her in an intimate outdoor festival setting.
The festival also features several other well-known performers. Beans On Toast, the cult folk singer-songwriter beloved for his sharp, witty storytelling, brings his trademark blend of humour and social commentary. Nate James, a double MOBO-nominated soul artist who rose to prominence in the mid-2000s, adds a smooth R&B edge to the line-up. Deco, known for their glossy, 80s-inspired pop and viral mash-ups, continue their rise as one of the UK’s most exciting live acts. They join a diverse bill that includes Mysie, Lyvia, TC & The Groove Family, Peter & Kerry, Unflirt and Nour.
Beyond the music, festival-goers can explore the Talk Stage, where speakers and workshop leaders will share ideas on activism, creativity and community. The Cabaret Stage brings performances from The Cocoa Butter Club, Rozsa, Courtnet Courtney, Weird Wood Collective, Elias Alexander and The Brass Funkeys, adding a theatrical and eclectic dimension to the day.
The setting — the landscaped grounds of Chiswick House & Gardens, with its 18th-century architecture and sweeping lawns — provides one of the most picturesque festival backdrops in London. Unlimited Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is included for all ticket-holders, and the Social Mission Space will host ten charity partners working to support refugees and people seeking asylum. Ben & Jerry’s will donate all net ticket proceeds to these organisations, continuing the festival’s commitment to activism and community impact.
Tickets are priced at £21.60, and the event is fully wheelchair accessible via the Great Chertsey Road entrance, though some areas may be weather-dependent. The festival runs from 12pm to 10pm.
