Chiswick Pier has a fun day for all the family on Sunday, August 19th. The action starts at 11.30 down at Chiswick Eyot when Thames Explorer Trust will be river dipping on the foreshore – children don’t forget your wellies!

Back at the Pier the first fee boat trip leaves at 11.30. “Princess Freda”- a Dunkirk Little Ship that also featured in the Jubilee pageant – will be sailing every 45 minutes. These boat trips have kindly been sponsored by Fullers. Also out on the river from 1.30 onwards the Canoe Club are offering canoe taster sessions.

The Pier House and bar officially open at 12.00 when you can browse a great selection of stalls, have a bite to eat from the BBQ, a drink from the Fullers bar, tea and cakes. So come along and relax and soak up the atmosphere by the river whilst listening to the ever- popular band Shenanigans.

Amanda’s Action Club is joining up again this year and Amanda will be doing 3 interactive fun sessions with the children at 12.30, 1.45 and 3.00. Also guaranteed to keep the children happy they have face painting, ice creams and a bouncy castle.
