Annual riverside highlight includes boat trips, live music and river dipping

Party on the Pier is the annual highlight down at Chiswick Pier. The fun starts at 11.00 am on Sunday 27 July when the Pier House opens.
Due to the tides, the first free boat trip sails at 12:30pm. These very popular boat trips are aboard the Golden Salamander, sponsored by Fullers. The boat will sail every 45 minutes – collect a ticket on the day.
Amanda from Amanda’s Action Kids will be on hand to entertain the little ones which is once again generously sponsored by Sworn & Co. Also to delight the children will be face painting. There will be a choice food, homemade Italian ice cream, live music, and a bar serving draught Fullers beer, wine etc.
Get the children interested in the river with Thames Explorer who are running river dipping sessions. This is a guided exploration of the foreshore and there will be two trips. Meet at the Thames Explorer stall at 11.30 or 12.30 (wear sensible footwear).
You can also enjoy browsing the artisan craft stalls with their wide range of goodies.
These events are organised by the Chiswick Pier Trust which works to engage people with the River Thames. It provides access to the Thames and supports major river events, as well as organising events of its own.
