The Chiswick Horticultural and Allotments Society (CHAS) is to hold a Gardeners’ Question Time.
The special event for Spring will be raising funds for charity.
It is to be held on Saturday 12 April in a marquee at the Duck & Ball which is at the Chiswick Cricket Club on Riverside Drive, Dukes Meadows (W4 2SP).
The panel discussion begins at 3pm but the venue will be open from 2:30pm with a selection of food and drink available.
The panel of experts includes Mark Wasilewski LVO of the Royal Parks and London Garden Society Judge as well as Karen Liebreich MBE, the founder of Abundance London of Chiswick House Kitchen Garden fame and a founder director of the Chiswick Flower Market.
Tickets for the event cost £10 or £5 for CHAS members and availability is limited so you are strongly advised to book yours quickly. You can request tickets by emailing events@growchiswick.org stating number of tickets and attendee names. Tickets will be held for you at the venue.

CHAS is currently making a drive to recruit new members. Since its foundation in 1915 as the Chiswick Allotment Holders Association it has promoted the art, science and practice of horticulture. To express your interest or learn more about any of these roles, email chair@growchiswick.org.
The Society is entirely run by volunteers from the committee to the Trading Centre.
It provides its members with free advice, seeds, bulbs, fertiliser, compost and tools at a lower cost than commercial garden centres and organises shows, talks, tours and events throughout the year.
Membership of the Society is open to everyone, whether they have an allotment, garden or window box and costs just £8 per year.
CHAS holds two shows a year where novices or seasoned gardeners young or old are encouraged to exhibit a range of produce, including their flowers, vegetables, fruit, cakes, chutneys and photos.
