On Sunday 26 October, the riverside Food Market at Dukes Meadows transforms into a Halloween haven for families, foodies, and fans of the fantastical. From 10am to 1pm, prepare to be spellbound by the sleight of hand and quick wit of Alex Ultima, one of London’s most captivating close-up magicians. Known for his mind-bending illusions and charming stage presence, Alex has wowed audiences from Covent Garden to corporate galas—now he’s bringing his bag of tricks to Chiswick’s favourite market.
Free children’s face painting runs from 11am to 1pm, with spooky spiders, glittery pumpkins, and ghoulish grins ready to delight little monsters of all ages.
Expect cobwebs, cauldrons, and creepy-cute décor throughout the market, where stallholders will be joining the fun with themed treats and seasonal specials. Costumes are encouraged—there’s a prize for the best-dressed trick-or-treater, so don your witch’s hat or vampire cape and join the fun.
