The SIXTH festival is from 2.00pm until 10.00pm on Saturday 18 June in the lush gardens of St Paul’s Church on the corner of Hartington and Grove Park roads.

The hugely popular West London rockers, Fat Chance Band headline a fantastic festival of music, food and fun, 2-10pm on Saturday June 18 in the beautiful gardens at St. Paul’s, Grove Park, Chiswick, W4 3SB.

There’s also Taxi Joe, a tight, three piece, blues pop band which is on a ride to stardom. Tempest State is a group of talented young musicians with a fresh new sound and a passion for retro 80’s hits.

There’s the Jazz, jangle pop, garage infused rythms of Bill Davro and the startling Alternative Rock/Industrial sound of Static Plan.

A feature is the premier of Tender Objects – experienced musicians in a new Anglo/Swedish line-up with an indie-pop beat.

Early in the day, returning favourite, Harry Dolan sings some slow melodic numbers made famous by the likes of Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and Paul Anka.

Mad About Gospel throws in some wonderful rhythms and Soraya Emment’s Zumba will show you a whole new way to party!

Wonderfully talented children compete for £200 in prize money and the groveFACTOR title on the competition stage. The judges are West End musical director Mike Reed, internationally renowned X-Factor vocal coach Annie Skates and St Paul’s director of music Ian Stephenson.

There’s also a kids CHORAL, made up of local school choirs. They’ll be tutored by professionals and sing The Carpenter’s hit number “Sing” as a finale.

One of the joys of groveSTOCK for those with children (and those without) is the kidsCORNER.  It’s a safe haven with Charlie the Clown, Sally Sunshine and The Little Gym.

The Ken Hammond Gourmet Barbecue Experience,The Pizzamakers and Annie’s puddings take care of lunch and dinner. The groveBAR offers a wide selection of drinks and there’s tea, coffee and cakes on sale all day.

Maria Kempinska will be groveSTOCK’s Master of Ceremonies this year.  The founder of the nationwide Jongleurs Comedy Clubs and renowned entrepreneur will lead events.  

“I love this music festival,” she said. “This is its sixth year and I have supported it from the start. I’m looking forward to presenting for the first time. I think it’s the best line-up we’ve ever had.”

The leading sponsor of groveSTOCK 2011 is one of Chiswick’s most successful estate agents, Andrew Nunn.

An adult ticket is £10 if bought in advance and £15 on the day. It’s £5 for 13-16 year olds and children under 13 are free. Profits will go to St Paul’s charities including a professional lighting and sound system for the use of the Chiswick community.
