Hounslow Heritage Guides have announced their programme for the year.

The next walk in the W4 area is atour of Chiswick Village on 27 August. Hear of Chiswick’s famous boat builders, and discover an Elizabethan timber framed building along with London’s smallest square, possibly the setting for the opening scene of Thackeray’s book, Vanity Fair.

Chiswick walks generally start from St Nicholas Church steps, Chiswick Mall / Church Street although the Strand on the Green walk begins at Cafe Rouge.

There is also a walk in Isleworth called 'Pauper to Patient' on the same day.

All Brentford Walks start at the corner of the High Street and the Half Acre, last up to 2 hours and return to the same place. Isleworth walks starts from All Saints Church.
