A member of the west London choir, the Hogarth Singers, drove to France to buy the wine for this winter’s concert on Saturday November 12. A real case of esprit de choir.

The Hogarth Singers present a selection of music by French composers - Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s shining Te Deum, Francis Poulenc’s Salve Regina and Maurice Duruflé’s magnificent, moving Requiem. In addition Hymne a la Vierge by Pierre Villette – an ‘enchanting piece of music’ says music director Jonathan Wikeley.

Hogarth Singers in concert: November 12, 7.30pm at St Michael & All Angels, Bath Road, Chiswick, W4. Entrance at door: £12. Concessions: £9.

The choir welcomes new singers, particularly tenors and basses. Interested? Contact: hogarthsingers@gmail.com or Phil Rhodes: 077682 82712.
