Thames to Be Theme of Hogarth Singers Summer Concert
Works by George Dyson and Samuel Barber to be performed

Two pieces with a watery theme make up the programme for this year’s summer concert from the Hogarth Singers.
The choir will be singing ‘Sweet Thames run softly’ by George Dyson and ‘To be sung on the water’ by Samuel Barber both written in the 20th century. The musical director is Rupert Gill with accompanist Andrew Wells.
The concert takes place at 7:30pm on Saturday 5 July at St Michael & All Angels Church (W4 1TT).
Tickets can be purchased in advance for £15 (£13 concessions) or on the door for £16 (£14 concessions). Under 16s go free.
Membership of the Hogarth Singers ranges between 50 – 60 people and it sings a wide range of choral music, both sacred and secular. The group also organises other activities which enable the choir to sing in a new setting and to enjoy some more sociable experiences not always involving singing.
New members are very welcome, especially tenors and basses, to whom a discount on their subscription is offered for the first term. There is a special rate of £10 per term for under 25s.
