Our Lady of Grace now selling book of inspiring talks

During Lent 2011, the Parish of Our Lady of Grace and St Edward, Chiswick, invited five leading speakers to talk about the role that faith plays in their lives and in the decisions they have had to make. An edited version of their talks is now available in a 58 page booklet ‘Living Our Faith Today.’
Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor, Archbishop Emeritus of Westminster, speaks about the ‘pilgrim path to Christian Unity’ and the role he and others have played in promoting it.
Lord Patten, the recently appointed Chairman of the BBC Trust, outlines the importance of his personal faith when making decisions in his public life particularly as the last Governor of Hong Kong and as Chairman of the Independent Commission on Policing for Northern Ireland.
Leading Psychiatrist, Professor the Baroness Hollins, explains the intertwining roles of faith, community and mental health and proposes a “five-a-day plan” for spiritual health.
Theologian, Sr. Gemma Simmonds, who lectures at Heythrop College, University of London talks about the role of women in the Catholic Church today and advocates a review of current theology.
Writer, journalist and campaigner Dr. Austen Ivereigh describes the formation of the lay organisation Catholic Voices in 2010 and how it helps to explain Catholic Social Teaching to the media.
