Opera Italiana specialise in presenting rare & not-very-often performed italian music & opera.

They usually give concert performances, but on July 14th they have an evening in Chiswick where they are presenting a rarely seen film production of Il Turco in Italia from 1958.

This is a special performance with Graziella Sciutti (see picture below)- a star at the time, who appears in this masterpiece by Rossini. This is a wonderful opportunity to see the opera & her performance - something quite special.

Opera Italiana are a small society, a registered charity & any people that might wish to join as new members, would be most welcome. They hold about 3 concerts a year.

The showing takes place on Thursday 14th July at The George IV, 185 Chiswick High Road and begins at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £10, £9 members. glass of wine included.
