Over a hundred dancers are expected to take to the grassy lawns at Chiswick House Gardens on Sunday evening 30th June for a breathtaking programme of Reels, Jigs and Strathspeys.

Members and friends of the thriving Chiswick Scottish Country Dance Club will celebrate the end of season with their annual “Midsummer Magic” Picnic Dance. Mairi’s Wedding, Reel of the Royal Scots and the Dashing White Sergeant are among the many dances which will grace this most sociable of evenings.

London’s top rated Frank Reid Dance Band will provide a fantastic range of happy dancing tunes to ensure the event goes with a “reel” swing. Visitors are most welcome, details on www.chiswickscottish.org.uk.

Club Chairman Nick Haimendorf says “As the sun begins to set on Chiswick House and the shadows lengthen, there is a truly magical atmosphere. This is always a wonderful event for everyone, and a great end to our dancing season – it’s a beautiful venue and one of the highlights of our dancing year”
