St. Michael and All Angels hosts the London Abundance
On the 1st October 2011, St. Michael and All Angels in Bedford Park will play host to the London leg of the Abundance Festival. The Abundance Festival is a celebration of local fruit and produce, bringing all the local primary schools together and helping them appreciate the value of both the fruit and the importance of locally produced goods. At the fair there will be pressing machines, local produce, preserves, crafts, aple bobbing, toffee apples, a smoothie maker powered by bicycle alone, saplings for sale and much more. There will also be stalls from Sam's Brasserie, Outsider Tart and Brian's Local Honey. Everyone is encouraged to bring their surplus apples and pears and come with the whole family for a great day out. Abundance Chiswick is a project to harvest the seasonal glut of local fruit (apples, pears, The fair will run from 11am to 3pm and is free entry.
