October 8, 2025 A one-hour chamber music concert will take place at St Peter’s Acton Green on Friday 17 October at 6pm, featuring the Jachana Trio—a group of musicians who met while studying at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. The programme includes Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 1 and Beethoven’s Piano Trio No. 5, known as the ‘Ghost’ trio. The performers are Jack Redman (piano), Charis Sykesud (violin), and Anna Galloway (cello). Redman, who serves as Director of Music at St Peter’s, is also a regular repetiteur for Glyndebourne Festival Opera. Together, the Jachana Trio focuses on classical and early modern repertoire, with a particular interest in emotionally resonant works that showcase the interplay between instruments Doors open at 5:30pm, with the concert beginning at 6pm.
