Chiswick High Road will be full of festive cheer from Thursday 28 November, when this year’s Christmas lights are switched on.

The event, arranged by the Chiswick Area Forum, kicks off at 6pm outside the George IV pub on Chiswick High Road.

Fuller’s Brewery will be providing dray horses and a cart as one of the highlights of the event to give a traditional Christmas feel, and St Mary’s School Choir will perform a short selection of carols before the lights are switched on by Chiswick councillor Paul Lynch at around 6.20pm.

The lights will stretch from Chiswick Lane to Acton Lane and down along Turnham Green Terrace. The lights will stay on until early January.
