Hounslow Liberal Democrats will be listening to the views of local residents in West and South West London at a special public meeting called for the 9th July, 2013, at St. Paul's Church, St. Paul's Road, Brentford from 7.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

The meeting will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of whether to add a third runway at Heathrow or whether by using Heathrow's existing capacity
more efficiently there will be no need to expand at all.

The line-up of specialists scheduled to address the meeting includes:

Lib Dem transport minister Norman Baker, M.P., John Stewart of HACAN, (Heathrow Association for the Control of Aircraft Noise), Liberal Democrat GLA Assembly Member, Stephen Knight, Nigel Milton, Director of Policy and Political Relations at Heathrow Airport and Peter Willan, Richmond Heathrow Campaign.

Members of the public will be able to ask questions and have their say at the meeting. Hounslow Lib Dems believe an exchange of views is vital  at this time because of the current Review on Aircraft Capacity in the South East of England being chaired by Sir Howard Davies, the former
Director - General of the Confederation of British Industry.

You do not have to be a Lib Dem to attend!
