The Public Inquiry into the proposed residential development of the site of St. Alban’s church on Acton Green Common is to be resumed on Monday 25 th March 2013 at 10:00am.  It is scheduled to last for a further two days.  Anyone can attend and, as before, the venue will be Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, Walpole Park, Mattock Lane, Ealing W5 5EQ.

The Planning Inspector, Michael Aldous, is due to hear evidence from the developer, Alistair Dias, director of Oaktree Court (Bedford Park) Ltd., the company that he set up for the purpose together with Paul Higgs in August 2006 and which obtained an option for residential development of the site later that year.

A number of parties who want to see the site retained for a variety of community or church uses are also expected to attend. The hearing has been adjourned for several weeks to facilitate the provision of further information to the Inquiry.
