Local author has a new cookery book
The book, called Madhouse Cookbook - contains delicious recipes for the busy family kitchen. It has just been released and Jo says it would be an ideal Mothers Day gift.
Jo has been living locally for twelve years and says she loves Chiswick for its great family atmosphere. Her previous books are The Nation’s Favourite Food, In the Mood for Food, and In the Mood for Entertaining. She is also a regular contributor to magazines such as BBC Good Food and Your M&S and often appears on TV, including an appearance on Channel Four's lunchtime programme last week. Her recent projects include being Food Director for What Food What wine and she is the former food editor for both Elle and Glamour Magazine. Jo studied Home Economics at John Moore’s University in Liverpool and after graduating (1995) she worked with big name chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver and John Torode on everything from live cookery demonstrations to working as a food stylist. She says the most challenging problems experienced by busy parents are finding time to cook meals for their family. The recipes are simple, easy to shop for and quick to make, she says. There are three chapters – ‘Monday to Friday Survival’, ‘Busy Weekends’ and ‘Cling onto your Social Life’. Follow Jo on Twitter - cookwithjopratt March 8, 2013
