Children's Writer Visits School In Chiswick

Michael Rosen comes to Grove Park Primary

Former Children's Laureate Michael Rosen visited Grove Park Primary School this week.

The school kicked off the New Year with a literary bag when it welcomed the famous writer to school to the delight of pupils.

Michael spent the day sharing memories from his childhood, performing some of his wonderful poems and leading workshops. The school described the experience as "truly inspiring" with many children stating that he was ‘brilliant’, ‘funny’ and ‘amazing!

The day ended with a highly successful book signing session and where children, parents and teachers had the opportunity to meet Michael and purchase a memento of what was described as, a "very special" day.
