A piano recital followed by cheese and wine will be held on Friday, 29 November with pianist Alexander Winter at St Nicholas Church.

Tickets cost £20 (must be purchased in advance) and include two glasses of wine.

Drinks begin at 7pm with the concert starting at 7.30pm.

Alexander studied piano at Trinity College of Music under Philip Fowke and undertook further studies with Mikhail Kazakevich.

He won the Mozart Trio prize, was a finalist in the Joseph Weingarten competition and entered into the Pozzoli and Bremen International competitions.

He has given concerts at the Arts club, The Bucks Club, The Hurlingham Club, The Lansdowne Club and premiered Paul Harris Buckingham Concerto No.5 at the Milton Keynes Theatre and performed concertos with the St. Mary Magdalene orchestra.

All profits from this event will go to the St Nicholas Church Development Fund. They need to raise £480,000 to restore the outside stonework of the building.
